Safe Spaces

Madeline Webster-Perry is a social worker. She is a certified trainer for nonviolent deescalation and crisis intervention, and has ten years’ experience supporting people with disabilities. She has been dancing since childhood, but more recently discovered lindyhop and other black vernacular jazz dance styles when seeking dance lessons for her wedding. She and her wife live in St. Louis with their three cats. Madeline loves reading, taking care of her plants, and traveling.

If you have an accessibility concern, are feeling unsafe, believe someone has violated the event’s code of conduct, or just need someone to talk to, Madeline's contact information can be found at the bottom of the code of conduct, linked above. Or us this anonymous form.

While it can be hard to disclose feelings of discomfort or fear, please know that the organizers of this event wish to create an event where all feel safe. You will be believed, taken seriously, and supported in resolving any situation you bring to the Safe Spaces Coordinator.
